‘In today’s VUCA world, the ability to navigate emerging challenges is a critical survival skill. Yet, in day-to-day business, strategic foresight is often seen as something abstract or even mythical. That’s what drew me to this masterclass—I wanted to gain a deeper understanding of how foresight can be applied in practice. Working on innovation and digitalisation projects, as well as strategic frameworks in the financial industry, I was really interested in getting a deeper insight into a promising approach and essential toolkit that may help to effectively imagine and prepare for multiple potential futures and to enhance capabilities to not just react to the future, but to actively shape it.

The masterclass offered a profound mindset shift—from simply reacting to trends to actively shaping the future and building organisational resilience. I gained an overview of different approaches to strategic foresight and learned how to apply its main techniques in a hands-on way in my daily work.
